Warning: This Is Non-Consensuses.
Most people are taught WHAT to think.
Most people never learn HOW to think.
Much "thinking" today is simply the regurgitating of things others said, that we like.
We live in a world that has replaced thinking with "liking" (or disliking).
The first step to learning to think, is to learn:
"Thinking about thinking is the most important kind of thinking."
Legendary VCs are non-consensuses and right.
To be non-consensuses and right, requires independent thinking.
Most business people are dependent likers.
(Heard chasers.)
Legends teach themselves identify what could be true.
They learn to see "category potential".
They learn to consider different futures.
About thinking.

Strong men create good times.
Good times create weak men.
And, weak men create hard times.”

What’s Your Strategy?
It turns out, most people (even CEOs) have a tough time answering this simple question.
So we created a free strategy course.
Start creating a radically simple, differentiated strategy in just 5 days.
From Knowledge Workers-To Creator Capitalists
God Father of management thinking Peter Drucker created the category of Knowledge Worker in 1959.
To distinguish people who work with their muscles from people who work with their minds. The first sentence in Wikipedia about knowledge workers says:
“Knowledge workers are workers whose main capital is knowledge.”
At the time.
The shift from manual work to knowledge work was the greatest new category of work since humans shifted from hunter gatherer to farmer 12,000 years ago.
For over 60 years, the most valuable people in the world were knowledge workers.
(That’s why your parents wanted you to be a doctor, nurse, lawyer accountant.)
The game (until very recently) was:
Aquire high value knowledge capital
Get paid to apply high value knowledge capital to produce high value outcomes
The problem.
Thanks to the Internet and now AI, the value of acquired knowledge is falling like a turd from a tall cow.
💩
Those who thriving (today) going forward are people who don’t just apply existing knowledge.
They created net new knowledge.
They are creator capitalists.
They create and monetize (at scale) net new thinking.
And all thinking becomes “content”.
Entrepreneurs, product makers, marketing leaders, creators & writers who thrive in a post-AI world, learn to create the new capital, by understanding the 5 levels of the content pyramid.

All Different Newsletters contain nuts 🐿
There are stratically palced spelling mistakes, wicked bad grammar, punctuation, and randomly placed, AD/HD rides down zebra holes sprinkled through out this insanely valuable content.
That’s a feature, not a bug.
The creator of this Different Newsletter does not possess a GED and he can’t find his hat.
There is no such thing as “needless swearing”.
In case this is your first time reading, you’re probably wondering what is this bullshit at the end?
Well.
This part of the newsletter, is kind of like the very end of the movie credits.
When some directors throw in silly shit, for their own amusement.
(Assuming no one will see it.)
What ever that’s called.
This is that, in a newsletter.
So you should feel zero obligation to keep reading.
I can assure you that (most of) what follows, is, as they say in parts of the UK, “shite”.
The next episode of Christopher Lochhead Follow Your Different is one of the most powerful ever.

Everything is the way that it is, because someone (like you) changed the way that it was.

Do you know who is this thing written for?
I don’t know?
McKinsey would never let someone publish this crap.
Exactly.
You’d get fired at McKinsey for this drivel.
Who does this guy think he is?
Exactly.
There are tons of typos and spelling mistakes too.
Exactly.
I think he’s been fired a bunch.
That would explain a lot.
